The love of shooting at an event is that its not a dead cert where you will get that shot. I have lost count of people throwing themselves in front of the camera as if i am their personal selfie taker (use your smart phone Karen). This is not how i work. I prefer to ‘see’ people and catch that moment wherever that moment lands. I want the real image, the one where the viewer can form their own narrative. 

Its not always a person, the shot below was taken after i had left the event and was lazily taking my time back to the hotel in Milan. Its one of my favourite photos and it cost nothing, no planning, no expensive shoot, just the perfect image caught by me the photographers eye. The engagement comes from you the viewer.

So if you are considering me for an event, just know that I am there to ‘see’ so, let me work and enjoy the outcome.
